Allen Jimmerson

Allen Jimmerson is recognized as one of the leading wildlife painters in Montana, capturing breathtaking western landscapes and enhancing their natural light to create an exquisite mountain utopia. Allen’s majestic paintings not only preserve the stunning scenery of Glacier Park, but they also aid in the preservation of wildlife, having donated thousands of dollars to charity auctions for Safari Club International, Mule Deer Foundation, Ducks Unlimited, Walleyes Unlimited, Pheasants Forever, Montana Bowhunters Association, Montana Outdoor Legacy Foundation, and the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. His paintings have been featured in Bugle Magazine, Montana Outdoors, and Bowhunter Magazine, and have taken front cover of Rural Montana Magazine, Cabelas Catalogue, and the Montana Centurylink phonebook. Allen has participated in several regional and national invitational art exhibitions including the CM Russell Art Show, Ellensburg Western Art Show, and Western Heritage Art Show, where Allen was awarded first place in acrylics. Allen is the featured artist of Plein Air Paint Out shows for Hockaday Museum and Glacier National Park, and his painting, “Heavy Shield” was the officially chosen artwork for the Glacier National Park Bicentennial in 2010. Additionally, Allen was the selected artist for the 80th Anniversary of Glacier International Peace Park Assembly.
